Mirror Mirror

I know that giant twisted tree
Burnt, tortured by lightening
I know that girl hiding in her room
Crying in her bedsheets,
deep in her bedsheets
That boy jumping with joy
I knew him when I was four
And that undertow pulling you down
Know your screams seem to make no sound
Seem to make no sound

Mirror mirror mirror
Shine back
Mirror mirror
Devils and angels in the cracks

That dog whining in the rain
Know its sad, ‘fraid face
Fallen hero drunk in the lane
Know his dance of lost grace,
Dance of lost grace
That love you now proclaim
I know it’s bliss and it’s pain
But those clouds floating free and high
Don’t we all want to be in that sky
Don’t we all want to be in that sky

Mirror mirror mirror
Shine back
Mirror mirror
Devils and angels in the cracks
