CONTRAST (2.6.07)

Got a special double-shot PotD today. The reason? It seemed it'd be very hard to convey just what the above photo is - a rock sculpture on Boulder's Pearl Street Mall - without the photo below. Above, the late-afternoon sun was hitting it just right to put the backside of one half of the boulder into shadow while leaving the other in total sunlight. Below, Laverne and Shirley 2007 get their sclemeel, schlemazel on.
